Genres: Speculative Fiction (Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Horror, Romantasy, YA SFF, Urban Fantasy, Indigenous futurism, Hopepunk, Solarpunk, etc.)

Do you write bold, imaginative stories? Flame Arrow Publishing is expanding its speculative fiction catalogue and is seeking powerful novellas (40,000–60,000 words) or short novels (up to 75,000 words).

We are especially interested in:

• 🌍 Underrepresented voices
• 🧠 Thought-provoking stories
• 🌌 Genre-blending and surreal work
• 🌿 Canadian authors

📝 To submit, please include:

• A short pitch (1 paragraph)
• A 1-page synopsis
• The first 3 chapters (novellas) or up to 50 pages (for short novels)
• Total word count
• A short author bio + prior publications
